Americas Best Value Inn & Suites St. Cloud

I stayed there with my wife while my apartment was being renovated and it was a very comfortable stay. The staff is nice and accommodating. It has all the basic things of need. If you are only looking for a comfortable place to stay within your budget and don’t need a whole lot of additional fancy facilities, this is your go to place.

Very nice and quiet place to get some rest. Maintenance always on call and handy. Manager super nice women knows what she's doing and is always on Task. Rooms were very clean and just a little problem with the heater when I arrived but has been corrected and works.

So far I've had a peaceful and relaxing stay .. the front desk lady kelly can be rude at times but I kill that with kindness .. I'm glad she was able to help me with my reservation today after she said she wasn't going switch my room... Being kind to her no matter her attitude goes far .... Thanks kelly for the good conversation we had today I feel I can chat with you for hours u get 5 stars

I've stayed here for 3 months and it was pretty chill the stuff was nice and pretty friendly Kelly the general manager be cracking me up it was a fun time what can I say u make it what u want

Very accommodating and kind staff. Had a wonderful experience and was treated with the utmost kindness and the manager treated the employees and myself extremely well. Being on the cheaper end I'd highly recommend for the cost and customer service!

I am extremely satisfied with my stay! The staff is extremely respectful and helpful, always available if you have any inconveniences or questions. As Tony the tiger would stay they are grrrrrreeaat! It's located in a convenient spot near fast food, gas stations, and grocery stores . Rooms and hallways are clean and the linen is fresh. The room prices are low and affordable and they accept pets! It's a relaxing and comfortable stay with everything you need. I think it's awesome, absolutely rocks my socks off and provides all I need, all the time!

I've never once stayed anywhere for the sake of luxury. I live in an incredibly toxic environment near this motel, and this place has been my saving grace when I need to be alone. It's cheap, and I absolutely adore the front desk receptionist, Kelly, who works throughout the weekdays. She’s got wonderful energy and is always incredibly kind. The rooms are nice, and always clean. Love them!

I was, and still am, very happy with the hotel, the staff & my stay here at America’s Best Value Inn, St. Cloud, MN! Initially, we all must remember that this is a budget friendly, cost conscious, hotel chain; it’d be easy to expect signs of a low grade hotel like poor maintenance, unkempt rooms, the smell of smoke, etc. plus other undesirables. Thus, it was a pleasant surprise to find a building & rooms exceeding the worst expectations but also exceeding a hotel of this price; in fact, it exceeds what I’d expect from hotels at a price point, or two, higher! > AWESOME DETAILS: • FIRST & FOREMOST to begin is the staff!* *WOW! It’s impossible to review the staff in just a word or two! They are top notch, attentive, thorough, INCREDIBLY FRIENDLY^ & more. When.a guest has a need, they literally make it feel like their pleasure to help. They make the check-in process so easy, seamless & painless; even when checking in at night while exhausted & wanting to just climb in bed. The manager, Kelly, clearly does an excellent job of leading by example, setting expectations, providing detailed training to achieve those expectations, she manages the hotel & team members to deliver a consistent guest experience, from my own experience, I can tell she manages her team according to the needs each team member while holding them accountable to expectations set. She is superb as manager because the hotel is kept up, rooms are cleaned & turned expertly well; far better than hotels at 2x the price. ^As for the friendliness of the staff, they follow Kelly’s lead; interactions with Kelly - be they personal or on a professional level - are beyond friendly & her team follows suit impeccably, never giving off a vibe of bothering them or they don’t want to be there. Even when visiting the desk past midnight one might, the gentleman on duty was more than pleasant & when I asked for a couple of things he happily went to get them; his stock at the desk was depleted on a couple items & he went to the supply closet willingly & got those items rather than saying ‘sorry, I’m out of stock, you’ll have to check back in the morning’ which I’d expect at some hotels. • Size of the single queen bed room* *FAR from cramped • Number of channels on the TV* *Im 2024, with the stupid streaming apps that I hate & refuse to ever use, having all these traditional TV channels is great! • Bed was extremely comfortable* *This is extremely subjective! I have severe spinal damage, a twice reconstructed neck & twice reconstructed lumbar spine and this bed gave me the best nights of sleep I’ve had in 10 years • Mini-fridge was spacious* *It held 5 days of breakfast, dinner, snack & dessert foods • Microwave came in very handy* *It allowed me to eat in every night & save money • Guest laundry machines* *For someone staying a week or more, this is HUGE • Location is very convenient* *I’m not from the area but the location is right off of the highway, plenty of places nearby such as: gas stations & convenience stores, fast food, coffee shops, pharmacies, retail & more; at least 4 pizza shops & both Uber Eats & DoorDash operate in the area so there are options for your needs in the area. > AREAS OF COMPLAINT: • Ice Machine has been down a few days as due to obnoxious guests that put garbage & items into it & made the freezing parts fail. Being without ice isn’t ideal but the communication with guests & steps to rectify it are excellent. • Vending Machines are overpriced & food items repetitive. These machines are owned, operated, stocked & priced by a third party & not the hotel, thus it can’t be held against the hotel; I mention the machine to prepare you. BOTTOM LINE: As long as you remember it’s a budget hotel, you’ll be beyond pleased with your stay! Expecting the Plaza in NY is unfair to the hotel, team & you. The thing that you’ll never be disappointed with is Kelly & team! They are the best & will make your stay 10x more enjoyable! Do yourself a favor, save a few bucks & have an enjoyable stay at America’s Best Value Inn 520 U.S.-10 St. Cloud, MN!
